The Yamaha Stage Custom Birch is equipped with 6-ply birch shells, which help create a strong sound whilst offering enhanced durability. The 22'' bass drum and 16'' floor tom create deep, heavy sounds which are well suited to use with any rock music. The Stage Custom shell pack is equipped with Remo drum heads for smooth, accurate responses across all of the drums. The toms have Remo Ambassador Clear drum heads whilst the bass drum features Remo Powerstroke 3 drum heads. A classic wooden hoop on the bass drum also guarantees great sound and playability.
The YESS system creates minimum contact with the hardware of the shell and connects the hardware with the nodal part of the drum - making sure it doesn't interfere with shell vibration. Nylon brushings on the rod offer increased stability and balance, allowing for use with even the most intense drumming styles and playing techniques. The system also prevents toms from being too close together, whilst the floor toms offer wide open sustain, keeping the toms stable while under heavy strokes.
The Stage Custom Birch Drum Kit offers a foundation setup that can be finished with the hardware and cymbals of your choice and expanded with add-on drums and holders if you choose.
