The low-frequency crossover allows you to determine the exact frequency point at which the subwoofer will begin to produce low frequency content. Take advantage of the on-board switch to decide whether you wish for it to begin at 80Hz or 125Hz.
When using two or more speakers you may encounter phase issues which can have a negative impact on your stereo image. Thankfully, the integrated phase reverse switch allows you to check for potential problems at the touch of a button. When engaged, if you notice that the low frequency content feels fuller and more defined, keep the phase switch on. If you notice the signal appears to dip in volume and sounds thinner then disengage the phase switch as the speakers are out of phase with the sub.
