No matter how you use the electric cello, it will always deliver a fantastic tone. If you need an instrument where you can practise in near silence, then simply plug in a pair of headphones. The Stagg cello will sound just like a traditional cello, enabling you to practise in confidence, without disturbing those around you. If you'd rather play out loud, then simply plug into an amplifier and jam out to your favourite music.

Traditional feel, contemporary design

Although the electric cello may look vastly different to a traditional cello, once you start playing, you'll bearly notice the difference! Just like an acoustic cello, the Stagg electric has a solid Maple neck and body. Once it's been finished, the electric cello is finished with a gorgeous gloss black.

The electronics in the cello open up a whole new world of possibilities. On the side of the cello, you can control the sound by using the volume control as well as a bass dial. Outputs on the cello include a standard 6.3 mm output jack and 3.5 mm headphone output jack. You can even plug in your MP3 player via another 3.5 mm jack and play along with your favourite music!

Included accessories

The included gig bag is covered in a smart black material and offers maximum protection. To ensure that you can carry all of your accessories, the inside of the bag boasts a number of handy accessory pockets. There is even a long bow pocket on the outside of the bag. The included round bow offers a quick and easy way to start playing straight away.
