Traditional stage monitors can be problematic in certain situations. They can clutter up your performance environment, cause feedback, and they can be an inconvenience to transport and move. The P9HW does away with those problems. Designed as a personal replacement for onstage monitoring loudspeakers, this compact bodypack allows you to hear what you want, exactly the way you want. No more tripping over cumbersome cabinets. The P9HW allows you to connect up to two separate mixes and tailor your monitoring experience to you.

MixMode® Technology

The P9HW boasts two modes of operation - Stereo mode, and MixMode. Stereo mode sends audio from channel 1 to the left earphone, and audio from channel 2 to the right earphone, giving you separate high-quality mixes for each ear. If you'd prefer to hear both channels through both earphones, simple switch to MixMode. This unique mode blends the two initially separate mixes together with the ability to adjust the levels of either mix, allowing you to hear a tailored blend of the two through both sides. Both modes work exceptionally well in a wide variety of situations, and the P9HW lets you choose which best suits you at any time.

Rugged and Reliable Construction

Shure have developed a reputation for building equipment you can rely on for every single show. The P9HW is another perfect example. With a robust body constructed from strong and lightweight aluminium, all of the precious internal components are kept safe. It can be easily clipped onto your belt or guitar strap and remain out of the way when in use. Plus, with up to 9 hours of continuous use available from two standard AA batteries, you can finish your show without the worry of losing power mid-way through. The internal AA adapter can also be removed, allowing you to install a Shure SB900 rechargeable battery (not included). If you're looking for reliable monitoring, look no further than the P9HW.
