The Sela Harmony Handpan in D Amara is made from steel and put through a Nitriding process to improve its quality and strength. Nitriding is a heating process that diffuses nitrogen into a steel surface to increase the wear-resistance of the handpan. This makes the pan extremely long-lasting through many gigs and trips it is bound to encounter.
There are dents in the structure of the handpan which are formed by a hand-hammering process. This ensures that these sound fields produce bold, clean tones. The process is done completely by hand and produces striking accuracy in the sound fields - noted by the sound they produce.

The Sela Harmony Handpan in D Amara comes provided in a protective travel bag. Made out of strong nylon, the bag is tear-resistance and protects your handpan from the bumps and scratches on the road. You can carry the bag by hand with the two handles, or comfortably wear it as a backpack with the adjustable shoulder straps. The padded bag also provides room for smaller accessories such as a metronome in the compartments.
