At a length of 67cm, the xylophone can be effortlessly stored when not in use. Combined with the 7.5kg weight, transporting the xylophone is also very easy. The Percussion Plus Alto Diatonic Xylophone offers a C diatonic scale from C40 to A61, the second highest in the Percussion Plus Xylophone range. Extra b flat and f sharp note bars mean that the user can perform in C major, F major or G major. The same precision tuning Percussion Plus use across their professional range has been used to create the xylophone, providing quality, accurate note bars.
The xylophone comes with two mallets, allowing you to begin playing immediately. The included mallets have a hard surface, designed to create a large, full tone. Switching to soft mallets will affect the sound and allow you to further explore the sounds available from the xylophone. Percussion Plus also creates xylophone in both higher and lower diatonic registers. Extensions can be added to make the alto xylophone a full chromatic scale (PPO26).
