Featuring a solid Tulip poplar resonating body with wood inlay and a Brazilian ironwood frontplate, the Meinl Martinete Line Cajon offers exquisite sound and appearance. The 15mm thick solid resonating body is equipped with an extra thick sound-port ring for bass compression, which creates a booming bass sound. There is a pop-filter on the sound hole which prevents any interference or feedback sounds from being picked up when playing in a live mix. The ergonomically rounded front plate with convex contact provides the Martinete Line Cajon with a rapid response time when hit.
The two sets of ten strings can be adjusted with the included tuning key, allowing you to find your own sound to best suit your playing style.
