The Gretsch formula

The Renown 57 Shell Pack might look old school, but the technology behind the Gretsch Formula Maple drums is rooted in the 21st century. Sourced from Canada and the USA, these 7-ply shells feature rock maple wood that offers warm, harmonic tones in any setting. From the studio to the stage, these are drums designed for players who revel in the spotlight.

Maximum resonance

And to further improve their sound quality, the Renown 57 shells are fitted with Gretsch's bespoke 302 hoops and Remo drum heads. These distinctive hoops are 3mm thick, double-flanged and reminiscent of the hoops used by Gretsch until the mid 1950s. Producing a slightly more open and ambient sound than more traditional die-cast Gretsch hoops.

A vintage look like no other

And if the stunning Silver Oyster Pearl lacquer finish wasn't enough, the Renown 57 Shell Pack's drums feature overlapping Chevron crests. Channeling the timeless style of many a classic car from the 20th century, and imparting the sense of a player concerned with looking as impressive as they sound. You'll struggle to find drums with such a unique design elsewhere.

The Gretsch G3 Series cymbal stands feature a gearless tilter, allowing you to lock your cymbals in at any angle for optimal playability. Additionally, the graduated tube joints allow you to select the desired height of the cymbal stand, with integrated nylon fibre memory locks to provide stable and consistent height settings every time you play.

Gretsch hardware features 3mm double-braced legs which provide exceptional durability and ensure movement remains at a minimum, even with heavy rides and crashes mounted. The G3 cymbal stands are topped off with classic Gretsch white cymbal felts and an ergonomic knurled wing nut.
