With all the required cabling and hardware included, you'll have your extra pads up and running in no time, so you can get on with the fun part - playing.
Complete your kit. Everything you need for comfortable performance and rehearsal. The Alesis Drum Essentials Bundle is the addition for drummers looking to add comfortable and reliable accessories to their drum set-up. The double-braced drum throne consists of a round, padded seat top and an adjustable, heavy-duty, tripod base, which collapses down to a small size for easy storage and transportation.
Also included is a pair of high performance, over-ear headphones. Their 1/8" stereo jack connector makes them ideal for use with laptops and phones, whether at home, in rehearsal, or on stage. Their cozy sponge and leather pads also cut down on outside noise, so you can play at a lower volume - but only if you want to! The Alesis Drum Essentials Bundle takes the fatigue out of long drumming sessions, leaving you free to concentrate on the fun stuff.
5A Wood Tip Drumsticks by Gear4music – perfect for beginners or advancing drummers, these 5A wood tipped sticks are ideal for a range of styles due to their medium weight.
Why mesh? Premium mesh heads allow for an accurate rebound, resistance, and overall feel, much like an acoustic kit, but without the loud and bulky shells. Mesh is also more sensitive, meaning a more authentic and dynamic sound can be triggered, especially as the Nitro Mesh features a dual zone trigger for the snare and the snare rim. Not only does the Nitro Mesh provide an uncompromising, natural feel, you also get ultra-quiet response, meaning your practise doesn’t have to be limited to neighbour friendly hours.
Great for a beginner or someone who wants to tighten their playing, the Nitro is packed with practice features. With 60 tracks built into the module, you can either play along to the drums or switch them off entirely with the press of a button, so you can truly sink into the groove. The additional metronome means you can simply set a BPM (beats per minute) to play along to and get on with your practise. You can even record your performance, once again at the touch of a button and play it back to hear how you did.
Never stop your learning. Included with all Alesis electric drumkits are 40 bonus lessons for the Melodics desktop app, the world’s best music tutor for contemporary musicians. Don’t just restrict yourself to a standard metronome and boring, patronising lessons. Melodics offer access to expertly-tailored lessons that make mastering your instrument easy, exciting and engaging – perfect your playing with Alesis!
The Nitro comes out-of-the-box with 40 ready-to-play preset drums kits. Ranging from classic rock sounds and contemporary pop sounds through to vast electronic and foreign percussion based kits, there’s something for everyone. If you’d like to create your own kit using the 385 drum and cymbal sounds built in, you can easily tweak and save your favourite kits with the simple to use interface.
The Alesis Nitro module features vest amounts of connectivity. You can expand your kit using the additional Tom and Crash cymbal inputs, taking your eight piece drum kit to a ten piece. You can record MIDI directly into your computer into your choice of DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) with the Nitro via a single USB cable. Additional MIDI ports allow for almost infinite expandability. Be it an alternative hardware module to trigger, or connecting from your computer to use the module as a sound source.
