This mounting system does not make any contact with the shell itself, instead it mounts to the lugs, ensuring maximum resonance and brilliant sustain. Rubber isolators at all connection points prevent any muting, whilst providing a sturdy hold and very little movement throughout play.
SuperHoop II tom hoops provide easy tuning
The Pearl Session Studio Select Shell Pack features Pearl's extensively designed and developed SuperHoops. These hoops are precision formed from heavy duty 2.3mm steel, and offer perfect rim shots and cross-stick effects that aren't obtainable on normal drum hoops. The hoops ensure optimal resonance and articulation, as well as making tuning easy, and making sure that your drums do not come out of tune.
Bearing edges increase volumes
