The Ibanez SRMS805 comes equipped with a duo of Bartolini BH2 dual-coil pickups, which deliver a warm and balanced response, complemented with a tight bottom end and a full midrange. That’s not all. Alongside your pickups, you are also provided with a three-band EQ, allowing you to tweak your tone to suit your styling. Another feature that enhances this model is the three-way mid frequency switch with 250 Hz, 450 Hz, and 700 Hz output options. Become the star of the show.

Designed for perfection

This 5 String Bass has been crafted with a mahogany body, topped with eye-catching poplar burl, and finished in a translucent deep twilight. This combination of premium tonewoods offers stunning aesthetics, whilst adding a warmth and resonance to the overall tone. A double cutaway is also incorporated into the Ibanez SRMS805's design and allows easier access to the higher frets.

The eye-catching body is coupled with a 5-piece jatoba/walnut neck, offering comfort, stability, and durability. Unlike other Ibanez basses, this SRMS805 features a panga panga fingerboard, which is a more sustainable tonewood than the commonly used rosewood. It's very similar to wenge and rosewood in both looks and tone, whilst adding a warmth and resonance to the overall tone and providing a smooth platform for the left hand.

Multi-scale function provides versatility

Available in 5-string and 6-string models, the SRMS805 has been crafted with an innovative fingerboard design, including angled frets for a versatile tone choice. This ergonomic construction coordinates with the player's hand angle, providing a quick and smooth playing function. The versatile fingerboard offers the playability of a 35.5" scale bass, along with the comfort, and punchy tone of a 34" scale. By incorporating both scales, players can achieve a variety of tones in one model.
