Handcrafted to the highest degree of proficiency. Each of the 9 plies is hand marked, hand-cut and hand-sanded to achieve the perfect fit. There are no gaps. The mahogany and birch are cross-laminated to form an exceptionally strong, thin shell at only 5.5mm thin. Then finished with an inner mahogany veneer, making it both stunning inside and out.
Hand-cut, 30° roundover bearing edges bring out all of the warmest characteristics from the shell. Finalised with a striking Iron Bridge finish and Art Deco inspired Palladium hardware, you have an original kit with classic vibes and deep tones that's unlike anything else out there.
The British Drum Co. Lounge Series 22'' 3pc Shell Pack achieves its unique sound through its carefully considered design aspects. The shell is cold-pressed which means it is moulded without the use of heat. The lack of a heating process means you get the best possible sound from the drum, as its sonic qualities are not altered.
